Gazza,
I remember someone on here using the 6mm plastic threaded number plate bolt/screw things, running a 6mm tap through the brush, then drilling a 2mm hole through them. I never tried it but thought it sounded good :)

I use a Bently monofilament on my downstairs pole. It is the stiffest brush I have used to date, you can hear the bristles rattling on the glass.
It does a perfect job, rinsing on or off the glass. It certainly gets to the parts that other brushes don't, it even digs out the green stuff from those tiny cracks around the beading that holds the glass in the frames.
You can put jets in yourself. I use plastic number plate bolts with a 2mm drill run through them. Drill two 5mm holes in the brush where you want the jets to go. then use a 6mm tap to thread the holes, screw the bolts in from the bristle side of the brush, job done. Depending on the thickness of the actual plastic, you may have to drill a bigger hole part way through, for the bolt head to fit into. Dai
