This time of the year there are millions of gallons, last summer an IBC lasted me more than 5 weeks. But I am minimalist with my water.

But if you are thinking of going green, think of it only as a back up to your current system in order to sell it to yourself. Its free ! What have you got to loose !

In reality though through the autumn and winter there is planty of rain, I switched off my RO last June and it hasnt been used since.

im just filling and filling at the min so they get a good rinsing, then im gonna get some good degreasant, "orange" or "lift", summit like that, let it fill and rinse again

yeh it was green, that was one of the first fills, getting better and better each time

It will always go green its natural water, tap water has super chlorine to kill the algae growth. Dark stops the photosynthesis and "green"
A few drops only of Milton will help as will Alchohol floated on the water surface or an Ultraviolet light. But Dark works.
