I use both, I've trad for about 12 years but have had wfp for about 3/4 months I do find it's good on some jobs but I'm perticular about the way my work is left so I'm very slowly changing jobs over to wfp.

I have voted WFP but in reality, I do a very tiny bit of trad work on outsides.  Obviously I do trad on the occasional inside clean.

WFP where I can.
Trad where people moan (except upstairs), doorways, and bungalows.

About 70% wfp I reckon, but 100% ladderless.

Hi birdmiller,

I must admit it's not been as good as I thought it would but I am stichking with for my high stuff, I'm not used to leaving so much water around and the whole leaving the windows wet is quite hard to get used to, I'm sure everybody would agree that when you blade a window you can see straight away if there is any problems and you can rectify it there and then.

As a package wfp is very good because you reach parts of the frame that you would'nt off a ladder.

I'm not knocking water fed I think it's me more than anything else i.e I want everything to be perfect straight away and also what works for you, there is lots of people that do it differently, things like some clean all the frame others don't go near the top frame, what sort of jet and brushes.

I've invested about £900 on my system got the 250 liter from pure freedom just to get me going, I have all the kit in the back of my van and 100 meters of microbore.

Hope this is some help.

Gordon.

.cheers gordon

do you work on your own, how many houses can you do with a 100m hose.

£900 sounds pretty cheap was that second hand, does that include everything, what are the running costs as opposed to buying some rubbers every couple of months.

My round is sound but i get let down by my lad regular so i thought if i used wfp i wouldnt need to rely on someone. But then would my hourly rate suffer or would the fact that i am safer outweigh the money factor.

What made you change.
