« on: January 10, 2008, 04:23:17 pm »
im a window cleaner and use the forum for that usually but i just want to find out if my carpet at home will come up alright once cleaned or if i need a new one. its a creamy/beige colour and has  lot of drink spillages and mud marks in the carpet some have been there for a while i think as just moved in. the drinks spillages look like a dark patch and i think that there are a few ash marks aswell. will a proffessional carpet cleaner be able to bring it back to a decent standard??

many thanks for your replys

Fencouse,

What I suggest , is you call a proffesional c/c to come survey the carpet for you.

put up your area on here , plenty of c/c on here I,m sure one wont be far from you, they will be able to give you an honest assement, and tell you the results to expect, very difficult to tell by just the info you give.

Hi Fenscouse,

Geoff offers good advice.

You would be surprised at  how well a good Carpet Cleaner can transform an old stained carpet, ( many of those dark marks may be residue from stain removers like Vanish  :-X / 1001  :P which in turn attract more soiling), but it's best to let someone pop along to do a survey before giving best advice....... and a price  :o

The surveys are normally Free  :'( ;D and then you can make a decision on what to do.

All the best

Evening

If you look on the NCCA web site you will be able to find a carpet cleaner in your area.

Which area do you live in?
