Orbital cleaning
« on: January 07, 2008, 10:46:04 am »
Hi,

I'm still looking into the different types of cleaning available before deciding whats best.  Regarding the orbital cleaners that seem to outperform the rotary pad systems with regards to the way they clean, i.e all sides of the carpet fibre rather than just one side, and i understand that these orbital cleaners perform well with encapsulation, but does this mean having to go back the following day to post vacuum, or does the orbital cleaner take this out of the equation? Also how could an orbital cleaner compare to say the dry fusion which hot cleans, deodorises, stain protects then heat dries, which is a massive selling point to any potential customer. Do the encapsulation products clean, deodorise and stain protect?

Plus how many of you have been on the 2 day course at the NCCT, and would recommend this as a good starting point to learning more?

Appologies for all the questions, but any guidance would be appreciated.

Grant,

Orbital cleaners can be used effectivly with encap, but for the best results the cimex triple brush system is the perfect answer, not cheap but can be used for varing tasks.
Regarding you question posed , post vaccuming   this is an important part of the proccess but personaly ,I always install the importance to the custy to post vac , nevr had anyone object and they seem to take it as something they must do.
some c/c may look apon this as not carrying out the encap cleaning in the correct manner and that you should go back the next day and vac yourself, however the logistics and extra cost that arise prevent this been an issue.  "In my opinion "
Like I said never had a custy object :)
