Customer rant!
« on: November 24, 2007, 07:50:10 pm »
Just a couple of things to get off my chest. Went to work Tuesday morning. Village out in the sticks. Two new builds side by side. Nice easy work. Did first one. Next door were in. She puts kids in the car and shoots off to school. I move to their house. Hubby comes out and says " we're OK thanks. we don't get round to cleaning the inside, so we'll do them ourselves from now on". If they won't do the insides, they won't do the outsides :-X What p*ssed me off is that they didn't phone to cancel or even say when I was next door. Rant No 2. The lady asked me in the past to knock and tell her I was about to start so she didn't get a fright. No problem. I knocked yesterday and her husband answered. I said I was about to clean the windows and he shouted through "DO YOU WANT THE WINDOWS CLEANED?". She replied "yes" and he said "yeah OK on you go". I nearly told him where to go. Rant over (until next week no doubt ;))

I basically have this on my cleaning note, in small print. Works for me.

*GQC Window Cleaning will clean your windows at our agreed frequency throughout
the year;  regardless of the weather; ensuring you have a regular, fully insured and
professional service from us.

However, if we are  turned away without prior notice (48hr  advance) or good reason
there will be a 25% surcharge against the next clean.
