Returning to the ladder
« on: December 14, 2004, 11:47:34 pm »
I have just returned to the business after some 20 years absense and now find myself up the ladder once again. I'm in the position where I don't need to go full time maybe just 3 days a week would be enough for me. How times have change 20 years ago the average 3 bed house was priced at £1-50 and the equipment was somewhat basic to say the least. I'm now looking at a min starting price of
£5-00 for a 3 bed house. Is this about right?
P.S. GREAT WEBSITE

I started 20 years ago myself, in my area the prices I was charging for a 3 bed semi was around the £3.50 mark.

Now the same house would be closer to £8.50.

I would say that wherever you are, don't drop below 75p for a standard size window.

I know it rather depends on the area in which you work, but even for the smallest of houses I would not price below £6.00.
