Squeeky,

I didn't make as much on the tips the 1st crimbo after I went wfp.

Last year though they had recovered to previous levels, I think its all part of the process.

Ian

I'll second that  ;)
Cheers guys, at least I know what to expect!

b******s, I was going to get a sat-nav too. >:(

What do you JWs Do when custys give you a xmas tip/pressie

Marcus...

I think most jobs give an end of year bonus, I know the jobs I had before did.  Tips given around this time of year I view as no different as an end of year bonus.  Most of my custys know I'm a JW and prelude the tip with I know you don't celebrate Christmas but I'd like you to have this anyway.  I won't say anything else on the subject as it will probably get deleted or the thread stopped.

As for amount, I've got a sum total of a fiver this year so far.  We normally get just shy of £400 but as for this year I can see it being less for the reasons Squeeky mentioned, going wfp.

Simon.

I cant see why you would get less because of water fed pole, if anything it should be more as they now get the frames cleaned aswell.

Soon see I guess

It`s human nature, they think he must be doing ok new van new equipment and also your doing the job quicker and it looks like your not working as hard,i know what your saying is true but from a customers point of view that`s how they see it i`m sure.

I should be ok then cause it certainly is not making me go quicker, and most of my customers have noticed this.

Ever since I used it people who used to be cheerful and give me tips now look at me like I've farted in their microwave.

Leaves smears.
Leaves spots.
Misses bits.
Takes too long to dry.
Too much water.
Can't see out.
Too quick.
My van's too nice. ??? Seriously!

..and many more... ::)

All of which aren't true.
The odd spot the first few times maybe, but not after 7 months.

Why? anything you want to share? :)
WFP!

Ever since I used it people who used to be cheerful and give me tips now look at me like I've farted in their microwave.

In that case, maybe one of them will give you a microwave for Christmas.
I've not had any tips or prezzies yet.  I get a lot less these days than I used to but maybe that's because I charge more and am generally more businesslike about things.
