Got a new customer last month £9 told em its once a month, they paid no probs. Second clean yesterday, go back to collect, get a note saying.
"I have already paid for this, if the windows have been cleaned again i havnt asked for them to be cleaned again. Please do not clean again unless requested.

Now this has p***** me of a bit, another example of its only the window cleaner and its ok to knock him.

well im gonna write her a letter delivered first class by hand in the morning, just wondering what you lot would put in it ?

well least she said "thank you" but its the unless instructed too again lol, that got me.

I can feel a normal water clean coming up next month from my wfp .

did she agree to monthly? did you give her a one off price?

Told her once a month and she agreed, and no it wasnt a one off price or it would have been more than £9.
It may only be £9 but its principal, sure they wouldnt like money stopped out their wages.
Just gets me how they think they can treat us.

i know its a real bummer but we cant really do much about it though when they ask how much i start off with the price for a one off clean then drop it down to the monthly price adding if they cancel i will expect extra payment to make it upto the one off price though dont know if i could enforce it

Just dump it,the secret of a good WC business is to get rid of all these C*** people,look at it as a bonus that you`ve found out sooner rather than later that there an A*******.

i have my first most irritating customer.
she pretty well off and 'well spoken' (posh) but she only pays me £7 for her 4 weekly clean, now i dont think il dump it as it doesnt take me too long, just thats the price for this customer that came with the round...

she constantly emails me to say when are you coming... and she is so fussy over the windows- i started wfp on this house, and she wanted every word of my wfp explanation, ' oh its quite strange seeing the water drip down (well its not going to drip up, thats gravity) , oh why dont you use ladders (so i dont dent your magnificent lawn, because its safer, because this method works better), well come back next time and il give you one more go but i want you to use ladder this time and il see which way i prefer them to be done '

most customers dont care how you do it aslong as the results are good, i even trad the downstairs for her and she still says i think id prefer you to get up the ladder and wipe all the sills ...
i prefer the customers that are kind and respectful and who pay you then and there, and dont ask a multitude of questions.

so i might dump it later on, though i need to flyer the area and get better customers.

I had one too this week. Got to sort it with them when I see them. No matter how clear you make it when you start they don't seem to be listening. Very annoying!!!
