Best and worst tip
« on: November 17, 2007, 07:22:22 pm »
Get quite a few 10ers, got £20 to day( must be too cheap).
Never been given more than £20, but I have been given £1 once by a lovely old dear.

Best. .....   Keep these cash payments to yourself
Worst ....  Advertising to the I.R that you received these.

Sorry to spoil the thread but how easy do some want to make the I.R inspectors job, unless of course you do put these on your yearly returns.

That must have been a different lovely old dear to the one Spencer Daies recently told us about. She fleeced him for an extra longe and rug!
Sorry to remind you Spencer - I thought it was a cracker.

Got £50 from the owner of the Cateram Arms. He was amazed at the result. Got hard  floors now.

Yes, I thought the one about Spencer's old lady customer was priceless. Could it be called 'bait and switch'  :)
