I have to do 24 stairs with Dry Compound.
I have never used this system on stairs before, what is the best method?

I know, but the customer insists we use dry compound only.

Just use an medium stiff, hand brush, but you might need to lightly prespray if heavily soiled.

Prespray, dwell, apply sponges, brush in (envirodri has a 180 degree handle, great for stairs), wait to dry.

Vac up from top to bottom (I usually use my henry for stairs with just the black hose part, no poles or attachments)

Collect payment for 1 hours work (max)

As I am solely EnviroDri I use all their products, if I start mixing I may end up with a bad reaction which could cost me dearly.

It has never let me down (bar 1).

I used to hate stairs but now I'm in a routine They are quick & easy.

Not normally, depends if I am going in after builders or plasterers.

Why do these guys insist on throwing plaster all over the floor alone with copious amounts of PVA, & Uni bond?

Martin - just googled "config32 error" and it indicates it is a worm.

If you on XP you can do a Restore - go back in time to reset the computer to when it was working ok.
Dont know if Vista has this but imagine it will.

Thanks for that Joe, but I cannot even get into the system, it hangs on start up, can't reboot.

VISTA!!! ARGH!!! 2 days of unending stress taking to Indian call centres. Needed new drivers for everything and cannot get onto the internet to  get them, as my internet connection needed a new driver to get on here in the first place.

Sorted now though

The wonders of computers. Marvelous when working but a bit of a pain when not.

Upgrading operating systems has always been a problem, 95 to 98, 98 to ME, ME to XP and now to Vista. Not gone there yet. Glad your sorted.

Ah Vista my advice is to leave well alone ! drivers and software are not up to scratch, best to leave it until the rest of the world catches up..I know that xp can only address 3 gb of ram but in the real world your not going to need that unless your editing movies and lot`s of large image files..Or digital music etc Mr gates has enough money anyway ha ha

Well, it was a pain in the (puppy) A..

And if i ever have to call a (puppy) call centre in (puppy) India again and get so (puppy) stressed I think I will shoot my (puppy) self!

But now the Vista is sorted, it's actually quite nice.

De-stressing slowly.

If I was building myself a new system I would put Vista on it.
Then I could do a change over and sort drivers out that Vista didnt pick up on and keep working the "old" machine till I had the confidence in the "new"
I am suprised you had so much problems with so many drivers, camera yes, but printers no - unless it is an oldish printer that the manufacturer has'nt developed Vista drivers at time of Vista release.

You cant afford another trip to Rio - go and lie down.
