pricing help needed please
« on: November 03, 2007, 05:43:45 pm »
Hi, I have been asked to quote this. I would be grateful of your opinions. It is a nursing home comprising of 3 adjoining houses and a newly built house. The first pic shows new bit, plus there are another 30 windows. The next one shows the old building style. There are about 60 of these windows in various sizes. There are also 2 porches which have 32 roof panels and 12 side panels between them and there are several doors. Access is good. Wfp with perhaps a bit of trad on some of the older windows that have dodgy paint. They are dirty. Thanks :)

Hi Feen
This will shock you
I was offered that job about 3 years ago, back then it was being done for 80-odd quid all trad! :o

I was offered it by the w/c who was doing it then, he wanted to sell it (no wonder)
He did it with his wife. it has been done since by someone else who didn't keep it up.
It's just info for your benefit mate (incase they drop through the floor when you quote ;D)

just quote what it's worth to you mate, there's plenty of w/c'ers in berwick who charge good money so there's a good chance the owners may realise by now it's never gonna be done for such little money again. ;)
