As a general rule i charge £1 per window for ground floor and first floor
£1.50/£2 for second floor and £3/4.50 for third floor depending on the size of windows then if its a first clean i will add upto 50% depending how dirty they are
so just go counting windows

Depends how bad you want the job and how often, what its used for. you need to give us as much description as you can, is it insides aswell? Any one can have a stab. tell us what you think and we can tell you what we think of your pricing structure, which will help you on every single job you quote for in the future. Remember your never too expensive! But you can be too cheap!

Thank you. its for once a month, outside's only, there are 60 flats in all, access is also good, and its on the south coast, I've priced it to about £280. but would love some feed back.
this is my 1st big block of flats. There are about 6 windows that you cant see in the picture.

That place is huge if it is a quote they are after do one out properly counting windows on each floor and their price e.g 20 windows @£1.00 -£20.00 etc then add your first clean % this is charged to get the windows and frames upto your standard then with your quote put a method/risk assessment and a copy of your public liability in with the quote
try to look professional at all times and dont be afraid to put your price in even if it is 10 times the price of anything you have done before be confident
Dean
Added later
I have counted over 200 windows on that building i would have charged at least double what you have quoted but if you are happy with that price and can get them done in a day then that is what matters
I presume you are wfp also

yeh not bad if its once a month i would still go all out like ive said to every one else and price higher than you would normally price. Try 500 and see what happens. Also depends if its a tender. And whether the person your dealing with likes you. You gotta flirt your ass off! Even dealing with a man, it doesnt mean your gay......unless you are! (no offence).

Well if its 4 storeys high then 30 ft+. if any awkward ones above roofs that you need to stand a bit away from then more. The biggest pole ive got is 24ft and that does all my 3 storey houses, yet to get any jobs above 3 storeys so your doing well to get this one bro. Keep it up!

I would go in at £7.50 per flat. So the total would be £450.

what you have to think about is not what you would normally charge if it was individual flats plastered all around a town for instance, rather, you are in one place all day no travelling and all that stuff, so you will be looking to do it a bit cheaper than if it was 10 flats and £10 each scattered around maybe around the £7 or £8 mark per flat for instance

I would normally charge £10 per flat if it was the flat owners hiring me, but since you are quoting the whole complex I would say £6 per flat so that would make £360. Not bad for a days work.
As for pole size I would say a 40ft pole should do.

What you have to remember is not many window cleaners can reach the top floor. I would go for about £6.oo / £6.50 per flat
