if they are real leaded windows and not the ones where the lead is between the glass then it could be a pig of a job as each little sqaure will want scraping if full of paint and cement make sure none are scratched before you start because if you get blamed for any damage these type of windows are very expensive to replace.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

Thats about what Id be going in at. Theres a lot of graft in that job.

I recently picked up one about half the size of this one, leads as well, I was told their previous cleaner had been sacked and was also told on asking he was charging them £25.00 (  ??? ). Anyway I put in a price of £65.00 and they were happy with that.

First clean this week.

Interesting replies...

I'm surprised at how low some of you guys have quoted.

This is how I worked it out (there are 52 windows):

Outsides
£2 per window = £104

Insides
£3 per window = £156

Total
£260 +25% (incase something goes wrong / takes longer than I think) = £325

I'll let you know what they say.

I stated at the beginning that I already had a price in mind! I thought it would just be interesting to see what others would quote.

What's wrong with that?

there is nothing wrong with that andy, it is nice to see other opinions that are in the same trade so keep on asking (that should unsolve the puzzle)

Just thought I would update you on this job that I was asked to quote for.

I went in at £295 in the end and it got accepted.  :)

Sounds about right.

For that on a builders clean I would want £300-350.

It really is not worth looking at if your only going to get £150, you could go and clean some bungalows for that.
