Pressure Problems
« on: October 05, 2007, 06:02:43 pm »
Hi,
Ive been using my wfp now for about 3 months with great results and surging business, yet i have this problem.....

i use a vari flow to control flow rate, usually unless really dirty and want extra water i run the vari flow at around half way with excellent pressure control, all of a sudden although nothing has changed my pressure is rubbish, if i run at normal rate i hardly get a thing and it just spits at me!!! I am running at full whack at the moment, which cant be good for the pump, i just dont understand, can anyone give any suggestions that may clear this up..

Thanks

edd

Take the hose off and see how the pump is doing without it. What sort of hose have you got? A bad airlock can give these symptoms and if you are using half inch hose the pump doesn't always clear the airlock.
Also, do you have an in line filter? if so check that.
