« on: October 07, 2007, 02:51:54 pm »
A lot has been mentioned about this pre-spray but is it suitable for wool their catalogue states not for use on wool but the tub states to use a fabric & fibre rinse if used on wool.

Does anyone know??

you can use what you like as a pre-spray as long as you thouroughly rinse with fabric & fibre and leave at a safe ph level. Sometimes you need to use these high ph products to get a good result!
I have used many times on pub carpets which were heavily soiled and it is fantastic.

Would you put brick acid on yourself and then rinse it off and put moisturiser on?

You have to look at the bigger picture.

Is it better than traffic clean on pub carpets? (as a pre-spray that is)

imo if your cleaning a pub/restaurant carpet that is thick with grease etc the pre-spray is mainly on the top breaking down the grease, not attacking the wool fibres, rinse well with an acid rinse, i can't see a major problem.

CBT I agree with you there, but does'nt always work that way does it.

And lets face it you can get away with loads on a oub carpet that would land you in hot water in someones home

paul, generally speaking i would only use a powerburst type solution on a pub/restaurant carpet but there are occasions, no disrespect intended where some of our ethnic customers have carpets with the grease and dirt nearly as bad as in a pub, in those situations i have no problem using powerburst or similar, i used to use less powerful products but they just don't cut it,
