Is it just me or is it getting busier for new bus. Actually done enough work this week to make me feel mildly tired.

Well the response on the leaflet side has totally died. 2 calls in 2000. Same leaflet, same areas.

I suspect I have a bit more competition through this medium now. Keep seeing Homeclean postcards on doormats almost monthly with low prices.

Hi

Direct mail works, but more and more businesses use it.

10 years ago if you did 200 leaflets in a nice area you would get 4 jobs, those days are gone.

If you do the same house every 3 months your responce rate would go up.

I think its mainly time of year, I'm sure most of us had a bumper August but I think alot of peolpe are all spent out, with hols & back to school etc.
Still ticking over, but was spoilt with an amazing August.

it,s  like you say,people spent up on holidays- school uniforms etc,and thinkingabout christmas . give it a week or two and i,m sure we,ll  allbe sweating again :)
