looking at buying a r/o system with min water wastage as on a water meter would need a 300 gpd system....anyone got suggestions as to the leading ones...merci gents

Depends how much you are willing to spend.

RO Man 300gpd won't give you 300 gpd but is cheap and a bit more waste water than pure.

Or the other end of the spectrum you could get a 4040 with a booster and run it at very low waste, it will give you plenty of water, but you are looking at over a grand to buy.

was looking on the omnipole site at their r/o it says waste ratio is one to one i thought that was decent reading between the lines...but for a few xtra quid i,d rather invest in a better system... so were do i find the details on the 40/40 one u suggested as..a bit new to all the terminology

Just a few.

If you are going to spend the money on a 4040 then you might as well add a booster pump.  The systems are much more expensive but produce water very fast.  You will also need to run DI in conjunction with the RO and if you are in a hard water area then have a water softener as well.

If yo are in a soft water area then you might as well save your money and have DI only with no waste water.

Congrates on the RO, you won't regret spending the money.  I would recommend getting a WS when you can though, if you haven't already especially with the amount of water you will be knocking up.

The biggest pole I have is 30ft it's a universal gf 6 5ft sections and it's a pig.  I only use it once every 2 months for a mansion I do over in Danbury, I wouldn't recommend getting one.

Can't really justify spending the money on something big and light when I don't have the work for it.

I already have a 36ft fat pig one
But may need a 45ft for a job next week(5 storeys eek!).
Thought you may be the man for a quick lone!!
Don't want to wedge out loads of £'s if it turns out to be a one off job.
I shall wait till the job is confirmed and try and mump one for the day of another good old Essex Boy.

probably go with anew system but thanks for the offer...actually how much water is there in waste as it will be despearced into a soakaway rather than a drain..id probably need 300 gallon per week at the moment..
