I have a 2001 Citroen Dispatch which is the same as the Pug Expert and Fiat Scudo - all built at the same factory in Italy I believe.

They are very fast - compared to a Reliant Robin :D

Not much power and you should get about 40mpg (diesel)

Some models had a turbo engine in then the HDi which is very good.
These move along very well and can do 50mpg.
Obviously hold their value so 2nd hand you pay more.

Get a lot of room for a mid sized van though.

I have the  standard 1.9 , the last 2 weeks I have been traveling to Leeds daily and you can tell the turbo, hdi ones as they fly past you

97 miles each way , 13 days £400 in fuel

got a 1.9 bit slow at pulling off when full but wot do you expect when youve got a full tank of water in the back of the van.a 1.9 is nothing special apart from a nice looking van

I had the citroen  version as a company vehicle and drove over 150k miles in it.its ok on the flat but present it with a hill and youve got problems. If you travel back from jobs when you are tired these are dangerously underpowered in my opinion.Alan Turner(swindon)

Well I have a 1.9 Diesel too.... a bit slow on a few hills here in Southend...fuel costs a tad high,it because of the load I carry!!!
But most of the driving here and surrounding areas is mainly flat roads...So I am very happy what I have got and also a nice looking van too.
The customers love it compare to having a fiesta I had before.

Obviously the turbo charged one is the vehicle to have  and they do return a good mpg.

Have you seen the new one??? Great looker, very nice cab, and looks like a bit larger load area.

Price?    Not cheap.   Ah well, maybe one day.
