Dave

Lots of hits will be CC's researching BUT the bottom line is how much work.

YP have started trying to baffle with stats but I keep a record of where every job comes from and those figures don't lie ;)

Hi

Most people when they get a leaflet through the door will be looking for a local address, but when they look on the internet provided its is a good site will only look to see if you cover there area.

Does this inevitably mean that you have to cover a wider area.

Dave

PS Bearing in mind that to achive higher than average prices an on site survey is required, a lot more traveling will be required.

I quote 99% over the phone, customers prefer a quick answer.

LOL Doug I was only joshing.

I used to do probably the same 99% over the phone but I'd say the % has gone considerably down as I try to see the client ever since I put my prices up again this year.

Some clients just say come and do it as they are referals or old customers but price shoppers/enquirers need reassuring so I try and arrange a visit, 9/10 book but the same crowd over the phone 6/10 book.

Hi Shaun

I didn't mean it to sound abrupt, I'm just such a strong internet advocate I give it straight, think I must have some Yorkshire blood somewhere :o

We're all friends on here. I hope!

How many enquiries do you get per week on average?
You can contact me shaun_ashmore@lineone.net if you don't want the competition to know, I'm just re doing my website so hoping to get some better response. Do you call them on the phone?

you can get a email forwarded from your site to your phone so you can respond quickly. I know someone that does not do this but still get work.

respectfully.
