Seeing as youve posted this on here dave and on the other well known forum, you obviousely have an axe to grind, very unecessary comments when you consider the particular window we are all looking through.

Let us all agree some of use portables and some use truckmounts,both have their place in the industry.

and some prtanle could be better than others and the same applies to truckmounts but most good equipment will produce pleasing results.

Although not apropriate to this thread I still wonder why US companies do not market direct to the UK ,

Most machines with a Service manual are capable of being repaired locally and parts can be obtained quickly from the US.

 Melanie It's not me you should be looking at re axe grinding, I don't have any commercial interest to promote on this or any other forum, that's why myself, Paul Moss and I'm sure many others are finding Ed's constant support (or as some would see it advertising)of his UK distributor a little wearing now

OK, Dave, now I understand where you are coming from. It's not my comments that really bother you; rather, Melanie Rowe stated it best:

"...you obviousely have an axe to grind"

In your mind, its a TM vs Portables issue.  Hummmmm. I wouldn't worry, I'll bet your TM is bigger and meaner than most and more "powerful" than any little portable on the Planet.

I'm sorry Dave that you are twisting my honest comments that are not even close to being an advertisement.

Nice try.

The very best;
Ed Valentine
