i reckon they take the same amount of time as a 15 sq/meter room so i add 15sq/m to the cost. that is a full up and over with nosing .  i've always wondered what other people do?  i hate stairs by the way.

I agree. I could do twenty sets a day if in close prox and thats without a truckmount. As earlier post suggests would quote as a standard room.

Tis worth considering that most stair are near entrance to house and get alot of soiling and as such one of 1st thing custy looks at so pay attention to them

I did a quote today for communal stairs in a sheltered housing association at £3 per stair there was 64 stairs and 2 small landings no hall, there's alot of work on your knees.

Nice how things turn out-sadly i cant justify running vans that far north now so will pass ya number on-BUT please remember i do enjoy a glass of laphroig at Christmas! LOL. (aswell as a chrimbo card!)

Right thats me jumping back outta this thread-and as for pricing a stairs-tenner for hall, same for landing and a fiver for stairs-i LOVE the exercise of waving my toosh for the customers! haha-(do have to pay my "team" a little more tho!)-That will start the tongues wagging and the ratings going up! BUT i GUARANTEE you all know MY name by now-mmmmmm I LOVE MARKETING!

Stairs are priced at my minimum charge of £40.00.
£2.00 per stair when you take out diesel, chems, wear and tear etc is not a great deal.

however if you're cleaning stairs at £2.00 ps as part of a suite/lounge carpet etc.. now that's a different matter.
