just go and see a accountant. Supposing he/she charges you 500 quid he/she will save that for you in tax if he/she is any good.

If you ring the revenue or take it to them (if they are local enough toyou) they are legally obliged to help you with the forms and not for their benefit, in other words, not to stitch you up.

ScrimShady,

I just thought on something!

If your not keen to go to a accountant or the inland revenue why don't you find a good/experienced book keeper and sit down with them and do it together taking in exactly wot they do. (use them) They will also be a lot cheaper.

Just a thought?

Its funny how things can be miss interpreted through posting messages etc......

I never said you weren't above board. I meant you might not be keen to go to a accountant from the "money/costs side of things.  ;)

An accountant is there to save you money and they can easily save you more then their fee. If its only your tax returm then expect to pay only around £200 max.

You may be skint at the moment but you will be worse off if you try and do it yourself (well I would :().

Tax offices are good but they only work out your tax, not save you money.Im not saying your not capable of doing it yourself but I know of a few tradesmen who went down the road of "I can do it myself" and found themselves outta pocket.

Trust me on this one bud go see an accountant...... but good luck which ever you choose.
