Help with a quote please
« on: June 06, 2007, 10:42:45 pm »
A friend of mine has been asked to price this place up. I've posted pictures walking from the front to the back clockwise to give you an idea of the place. The owners want all the windows and frames done every time including the conservatory windows and frames and the cabin at the end of the garden. I don't believe there are windows round the back of the cabin, just the ones you see. They also want a price for wiping down the gutter, soffit and facias on the bungalow either every time or every other time as well.

The two windows you see either side of the downpipe in the third photo are the same ones at the end of the wall in the fourth. The top half of the open door in the fourth picture is glass.

I've got an idea of a price but I'd be interested in your input guys n gals.

Windows every month £25
Fascia and guttering every other time £60
Can't be doing with people that want that doing every other time
That said , if you need the work price accordingly
seems like either to much money or time on their hands
Just my thoughts

Windows and frames £30 (wfp) guttering  £70,  there is a lot of guttering soffits and facia cleaning there guy's, and I would have thought in essex you could have got a better price, I would want £4 just for the shed.

As a matter of interest what would you ask for the con roof WFP?

They've not asked for a quote yet but I suspect it might come. It's supposed to be self cleaning glass but it's only been up a few weeks and it's already got visible dirt on it.

I agree with the 2 prices above for the roof, its the section against the house that will be the pain.

There's a pun in there somewhere.

Seriously though, thanks guys.

In the many years I've been in the trade I've never done a con roof and though I wasn't too far off with what I was going to suggest for the windows and frames, I would have been way too low with the con roof.
