Merlin Tds
« on: June 06, 2007, 07:11:38 pm »
Hi All,

I have been using my merlin 6 months now and my tds used to be 002 into the tank and 000 out of the di can. But I have just checked and it's 010 in to the tank and 002 out of the di. Is there a way of getting my tds back down again ?

Can I still clean at 002 ?

Thanks, Jason

Yes you can clean at 002. But sounds like your filters and resin probably need changing. They recomend that you change the filters every 6 months. Do you back flush it regularly?

Just to say that I have taken this system out of my old van and fitted into a newer one. This is my second fill and it seems to be taking longer to fill. It used to take 4.5 hours to fill 400 ltr and now it seems to be taking twice as long I cant see any kinks or bends in the pipes in the merlin.

Thanks for your help, Jason.
