I have just picked up a contact to clean some door mats for a company and want to know if other carpet cleaner do this type of service or if its just a one off? (i know there are laundry companies provide this service)

As it could be a great way to get commercial  work by offering a free door mate service with a carpet cleaning contact? companies must see value in a door mate service, and by linking it to carpet cleaning we could provide a more all round service than just clean door mats?

just had a thought that even if the above does not work it would be a great way to advertise your company. by offering a door mat with your logo and tag line to shops in your town for free?

there is a local company that takes away the commecial doormats evey week and replaces them with clean ones, the firms just pay a weekly rent and have always got clean walkoff mats

The weekly mat cleaning service has been around for at least 25 years..............Initial are the main players up here.

Another potential market, however, is the sunken door mat, the one with strips of metal / carpet.

Klanz was pushing this, but the guy who sells the machine is hopeless at marketing
