Ive been wondering about these anoying tiny hard to get off  spots , by trad anyway,  how do they stand up to water fed pole ?, allso  on older pvc frames that have gotten realy  grubby the kind that take  loads of effort to get looking better ! can thay be sucessfully cleaned ?

I don't see that WFP will ever completely take over the job of ladders as there are some jobs I know I won't be able to do with it. Some first cleans I feel will only ever be able to be done by getting up there and getting your elbow behind the tools, especially the one like you describe. I've had a few whose uPVC windows have been in for five years with what looks like no cleaning and in my view there's no way the first clean would be successful with WFP. But then you account for that in your pricing. Some first floor flats that I do are above ones I don't do, so I'd have to trad those.

However, I'm speaking as one who is hoping to go WFP later this year and has only limited experience using a freind's equipment, so the voice of experience would be welcome on this one as I too have wondered about those annoying fly/spider spots.

I find most of the time those spots come off with a exta scub. Now & again i get the odd stubburn one so i use the edge of the brush, that does the trick.

The older Upvc frames are a pain on the first clean but with a bit of graft they come good.

Most spots come off relatively easily although every now and then you 'll be scrubbing for what seems to be forever until the mark disappears.  I say forever but it's probably still faster than using a ladder it just seems a long time as wfp is soooo fast.

The first time cleans on bad windows can come up perfect or near perfect first time if you're prepared to throw loads of water at the windows and clean all the frames and then the windows.

I don't think you could do builders cleans like removing cement with it though.  You'll always need ladders for the odd job.
