I can help with that.  Click on the PROFILE tab at top of page.  On the page that comes up, one of the options (over to the left) is called "Notifications and emails".  Go in there and adjust to suit.  If it is already tweaked to post you notifications then I can't help but I reckon that must be where the problem lies.

thanks for the reply i have both the boxes at the top of that page ticked i am assuming that they should both be ticked, if so, for some reason, it dont work

As a moderator I can't help you much here

But I can pass the problem on to admin for you

One way of checking your posts is to click on your own profile and list the latest posts you've done.
you can quickly flick through posts you've made comments on or asked questions on without having to scan through no end of posts all the time...if you see what I mean?

I have both of mine ticked too and it works fine.  In that case, I can't see where your problem lies.  Hopefully a mod or admin will be able to resolve it.

What email service do you use? I reckon its probably more to do with them.... do you have a junk email box?
