what dilution rate are you mixing the M/S at?

wool & woolmixs often darken when damp so perhaps you are doing a better job than you think, but you don't realise it because you never see it when its dried.

Not used M power so dont know.M/S are hard to get onwith at first, when I first used then I had poor results but then I was not diluting them enough and was not aggitating enough.
They are strange things to use and believe it or not I found that by diluting Solutions no.2 at 10/1 with warm water, I would mist only 5oo ml over an average  size lounge and them aggitate with a mechanical machine. You need to spend more time aggitating than you do wand ing,the results after the aggitation were great.I then would rinse with plain hot water at about 150psi any spots left I would use no. 3 or eco and aggitate which would pull around 99% of them, then again rinse.

Results I found with m/s are good but I dont believe they pull as much soil out as the conventional chems as the dirty tank was always blacker when emptied when using detergents and not as dirty when using m/s.I also found resoiling quicker using m/s.
I like using m /s on upholstery as on some types of flock they clean them better and I also use them for bonneting.

I also can't comment on Mpower as I've only tried a 2-3 times but I use conventional M/S on 99% of my jobs with a freshwater rinse and I have never walked away from a job thinking I could have got it cleaner, some carpet haven't cleaned up as well as I would have liked, but i would have got the same result whatever chemical I'd used.

if you are not getting the results you want with Mpower then try something else. there's plenty of choice out there.

john

try this mrthod by trevor woodman that i also use its great with the new second gen microsplitters

After a lot of practise and re-jigging methods of use I think I have cracked how to really use M-Power to its best effect, of course you might disagree

I find that once agitated in a light mist again over the top and leave while you do other things helps.

If used in conjunction with another system the end results can be quite outstanding.

Any way my M-Power procedure is as follows;

1) Vacuum,(a lot), pull out furniture, beds etc, vacuum everywhere.

2) Spot clean procedures as normal if required.

3) Apply M-Power and agitate across carpet using roto and pad, finish off around edges with sebo,

4) Place furniture back in postion You do not need to move the furniture again No further cleaning in these areas is necessary.

5) Leave dwelling for 10-15 miinutes longer is ok if needed.

6) Spray mist Tex (or whatever system you use so long as its non residual and wool safe etc) roto over/extract exposed areas only.

7) Inspect, post spot and dress pile.

8) Ask client to walk though with you, collect payment.

this method will work just as good with Nemesis in place of m-power

have you tried catalyst by craftex? its fantastic for cleaning 80/20's or 100%. i use it as a pre-spray then bonnet it in, it takes about 30mins to an hour to dry completely & its got a built in protector. i always get brilliant results when using it on wool & its ph7. regards char
