Ionics roadshow birmingham
« on: May 02, 2007, 06:00:15 pm »
Went to the birmingham one today, not as bad as some led us to believe.
Yes there stuff is expensive & yes the sales pitch was flowing, but, all questions were answered well & demonstration quite good.

I led with the questions i wanted answering & the equipment details required. There systems are expensive but do look the part if thats what you need to put over to the client, also when employees come into it you must have tried & tested equipment or your open for a claim.

The pro 10 was something i will go away & think about, priced up a job this morning £200.00 plus, internal high level windows. Just got to get frequency sorted & then decide.

To some up stuff good, but still pricey. Do i want want to spend £8k to £10k for a system, no, but if the right high paying work came along & i thought it would get, then i would not hesitate.

Further to the above about systems we run 2 vans with Tucker system & poles. Thursday & friday, i used the Tucker poles with the new pennel clamps that i,ve fitted to all our poles, they were much lighter, stronger & cheaper as an investment for a company with employees using wfp. There is very little mentioned about Tucker, i would recommend people to look at all systems before buying. Other systems i,ve looked at are stream, facelift, omnipole & brodex all provide you systems at a reasonable price & theres a lot more. I only look systems with black or coloured tanks.

In all its best to look, try & go away & think because a lot would have been overawed with the potential of an ionics system but you must have the work. £20.000.00 + is a big investment in anybodys book.
