« on: May 10, 2007, 06:30:42 pm »
I've had a steempro 2000 for about a year and its started leaking at the solution hose connections. How easy is it to replace the seals and where do you get them from ???

just but new connectors they are around £7 for female and £3-4 for males.

two spanner 1 roll ptfe tape and job done on all your kit in a hour.  for less than £30 quid and no call backs because you left a damp patch.

You can also get them from your local hydralics stockist. My local stockist sells em much cheaper!

I get mine from a place called FPT (UK) LTD in Winsford Cheshire but cannot find their website.
They are a very common size, used in industry mainly for hydraulics.

Never tried buying these.

Could the problem be that since most of the kit comes from the USA then they might be imperial sizes (inches) and the stuff from PIRTEK etc are metric?

You could try G&S Services in Penrith or Prochem Scotland in Greenock

Any Prochem, Craftex or Chemspec distributor will be able to get them for you.
