Help needed Please
« on: April 22, 2007, 10:18:03 am »

I am about to purchase a sensei with a 3 stage vacum motor 135psi pump. It is going to cost me around £1500 with a few tools wands etc. I would like to know if this is a good purchase for a 1st machine. I am currently using a Karcher not that good! I do a couple of pubs and a old peoples home is this machine good enough? Although I do mainly domestics I am starting to do more commercial jobs. Any suggestions or your opinions would be apprecited! I want a Ninja but can not afford it right now is this a good alternative is it reliable?   Please give me your thoughts ;D :D ;) ;) ;)

Hi there Marly

With all due respect to yourself and the sensei machine I personaly
would not pay £1500 for the above machine. Dose that include VAT

You can get a better speck machine for that price.

ie, either a rino @ 2 x 3stage vacs plus 135 psi pump plus hoses, wand
and hand tool for about £1000 plus vat. Sorry i can not remenber the name of the caompany that sells them, but iam sure somebody on here will tell you.

our woodbridge sell the speedster if you can deal with there service which in my opion inst great. But there prices are good ands the speedster machine is probily the best value for money machine on the market at the present time just my thoughts

speedster machine after speaking to john yesterday he has one at £1000 plus vat it has 2 x3 stage vacs 135 psi pump not sure about heaters as i did not ask him, but both these machines would be better
speck machines than the sensei that you mentioned above

Woodbridge no is 01279422220

It may be worthwhile thinking about putting down £1500 on something like a scorpion from solutions and leasing the rest over a period of time
the scorpion is the top of the range portabile machine and offers better value for money than a ninja plus you get great service from solutions.

Solutions no 0120879450

For me if I was spending £1500 i would personaly go for the speedster
with 450 psi pump and twin inline heaters 2 x3 stage vacs
and save up a another couple of hundred  quid.

I have a sensi and as a machine for cleaning a carpet on the 5th floor they are great and mine,s got the heater but you will be for ever filling it up .Also great spotting machine . When your cleaning carpets you need a machine that will do the job with out going over it two our three times.Ive just got the scorpion 500psi from nick at solution,s on a lease over two years (great machine ) There,s also the speedster Dont buy a machine on what it cost but on what will do the job with the least effort Des

Master clean will do you a package For £1600.00 500psi, heat, wand, hand tool, vac and solution hose and twin 3 stage vacs. This is what vernon quoted me recently (inc v.a.t). Keep your small machine for spotting etc. Then your up and running, top spec machine to handle commercial, domestic and a back up.

Everyone has an opinion and some one is bound to bring up that you should be spending x on x machine. But you will have to form your own opinion and go for the machine that you feel suits your requirements and needs but bare in mind as you grow your business your needs and requirements will change.

I was very tempted by twp speedsters nearly/new on ebay with wands hoses etc. If you can stretch another 500 or so I think you will find these better in the long run. If you want to jack it in you won't lose much.

A lease is fine if you know what you are doing, but if you find you hate CC or more likely go broke you really don't need the debt from something you don't use.
