CFR Downdraft
« on: May 05, 2007, 03:19:29 pm »
Anyone use one of these? They look impressive on the Cleamsmart website, but at £345 you could nearly get 3 air movers for the same money.

Any views - should I get the Downdraft or 2/3 turbo dryers?

Cheers

Hi Owen,
These are the only dryer to have, turbos were originally designed for flood work. These are for surface carpet drying and it's fast. They are so good that I see from your post that the price has risen from £245 which I paid 18 months ago. Even at that price I would buy one.
Get one.   Regards, Martin.

1 downdraft or 3 turbo dryers, its an easy choice to make, no matter how good the downdraft is you will get more use out of the turbo dryers,

you can use them in separate rooms or for drying suites.

if you think you are just trying to exchange the top 6 inches of saturated air, a downdraft might be perfect for this but an airmover is a close second

buy the airmovers, or if you are feeling flush buy both ;)

Their Studebaker looks the biz 40mph and dry in minutes too.

i purchased a cfr downdraft a couple of weeks ago, its a fantastic piece of kit. what i like about it, is that when you set it up theres no dander of blowing things over, no blowing dust from behind radiators etc! also drys carpets very, very quickly. get one you wont regret it.
