just been stung  ??? be very cerefull when taking on new work make sure you have ALL information about outgoing contractors and employee's

Hope it isn't too bad for you.  If you put a clause in your quote stating it isn't prepared with provision for TUPE and is subject to change then you have every right to go back to your client.
