I cleaned a school last Saturday with it. 8 classrooms 3 of us did it in 3hrs 1man moving the chairs & desks, 1 man pre-vaccing and me cimexing

the result was satisfactory, not amazing but you could tell they had been cleaned, considering no dirt was taken away.

as a test I did the entrance mats which where grafted, I just ran the cimex down the centre and left them until the end, they looked exactly like i had wanded a strip down the centre, very clean, I should have taken a photo.

cost me £5 in chemical ( I bought a job lot off Nick @ Solution)

Mike

ps EDITED;  got my maths wrong, i used about £12 in chemical

Did you go back when dry and vac  :o and more importantly advise customer repeated vac’ing removes more or advise them to leave it as it repels soil encap that is. ;)

Mark

That’s a name I haven’t heard off in a long time. :(

I'd say yes twice as fast all you do is fill the tank and pull the trigger and there are less fills compared to changing bonnets.

Mark, it was average glued down commercial carpeting, I would say it was slightly slower than bonneting, i would say it looked as good as if I'd bonneted it ( which is how I've cleaned it for the 3 times previous)

Len, the school has a very good cleaning schedule which is very thorough so the carpet are vacced well each evening, so the dry residue should be removed.

What product were you using from Solutions?
I have used Bridgepoint Encapuclean from Alltec to good effect.

it was called Dray Foam, Nick used to use it on one of his commercial accounts, I don't think he sells it,  it was just what he had left.

I bought some of Bridgepoints encap from Alltec, but found it very expensive

Clive,
Canberra is the capital city of Australia and with a population of over 332,000, it is Australia's largest inland city.
