The TDS will always rise a little if using the RO for the first time after being turned off.
One way of getting around this (which is what I do) is to turn the RO to flush for the first 5 minutes of each use.

The more you flush your ro the better,i think many people only flush there`s for a limited time because they would rather use that time for filling,i just happend to have the time ie bank holiday. If you start to fill and the waste water is milky it needs a good flush.

Hi Busted.
I flush my RO for 10 mins every other day, saying that i put it on flush this morning while filling for work today & for got to switch it back to produce. It ended up flushing for 6 hours
, glad i'm not on a meter.
My RO always produces at 4 or 5ppm so that sounds ok to me.
