sub pump

used submersible pump in ibc for first time yesterday and worked a treat but to night when i plugged it in and turned it on it kept blowing the trip to all the sockets in the house, any advice would be great help

i used mine yesterday for the first time,didnt work all i could do was change the fuse :'(any advice

Check seals that no water has got into housing,?checked plugged ?????????

If it keeps tripping out it must mean that there is leakage of the voltage to earth.  Check all the seals and if it's not an obvious problem send it back to the supplier.

Sometimes these pumps have a float switch, a little rectangle the size of a deck of cards, this needs to be the right way up for the pump to work at all.

thanks for replies guys, got in touch with supplier this morning and he said to bring it back and he will change it so hopefully problem solved. mal
