Well folks firstly thanks for all the help and advice I rec'd from many people out there in cyber space!!
I usually clean about 13-15 properties a day and today I only managed 10 with doing the tops wfp and the bottom trad.This was mainly due to all the ruddy rinsing I was doing.
But I do have to saythe results are very good and as I am trying hard to get the first clean right I dont mind doing this knowing when I get used to in I will speed up no end.
All my customers were very pleased that my new method of cleaning upstairs left there windows looking great.
I even picked up 3 new regular customers as they saw me and asked if Icould do theres!! and a one off con roof clean!!
So far so good!!!

Glad to hear your liking it , thats always a bonus , once you get the hang of what you can hook your hose around at each property you will be flying and earning so much more , you might want to do all windows wfp soon , its very rare i pick up a hand tool now !

Another thing , i have been wfp for something like 20 months i guess , and it only just occured to me not long back to pull the hose to the furthest point needed and work back , i reckon it saved enough time over the day to get at least 3 more props in per day , an extra £100 a week on £7 per house !

Explain it slower P&F. I waste time.
At the moment i do front tops, then back tops, then front bottoms, then back bottoms.(all WFP) This is to allow the drips to clear.

And on first cleans I nail brush the frames all round first too.

It does work. I will be modifying it slightly to get into the small diagonal corners. The customers have been very happy with this. They can see their frames are cleaner.

I am a little disappointed that I haven't been head hunted by Ionics for Frame valeting and bird muck removal expertise.

I've had to turn the computer back on because I have just had the most amazing idea. You know how on this site people post links to videos, most notably Alex with various supa lite poles and clear vision with Gaz's swivel brush. Well what about taking this one stage further....

We all seem to have web sites (even you mentioned knocking one up Jeff). Well what about posting a link on our site so that any potential customer can see us at work, and we can talk to them directly about our outstanding service.

So they get a leaflet, hit the web site address because the are impressed by your bird muck hotline or whatever, and then they actually get you face to face explaining all about your frame valeting passion, bird muck removal techniques, and the reasons why when I've cleaned a window it stays clean for up to eight weeks.

All of the new customers who get in touch with me have already looked on my website. Firstly to check if I am bona fide, and secondly out of interest to see if I am what I claim I am - local.( I live in a large village surrounded by smaller villages and using local services is something they prefer to do.)

Unfortunately Vince my web site is useless, and if you went on it you would laugh, but that is not the point.It is normaly mentioned in passing.

You were complaining about losing affluent middle aged customers.All of these have broadband, as do the 'new' homeowners you claim don't want your services. If this is your attitude it wont just be the influx taking work from you by underpricing, but internet marketing savvy premium charging service providers like myself from above.
