« on: July 26, 2004, 04:33:02 pm »
Hi one of my cleaning ladies spilt kitchen cleaner containing orange oil on one of our clients carpet which is pale beige. Have tried vanish carpet remover but its not poopfing. The stain is about 3 weeks old. Eternally grateful if anyone can offer advice, solution on what to use.

Thanks

Hi Julieg

From your post, I would presume that you are not a specialist carpet cleaner. My advice would be to contact a professional to attempt it for you as yellow/orange stains can be the most difficult, maybe impossible, to remove. Your own attempts may have made the situation worse.

As a professional carpet cleaner myself, I would be loathed to become involved with other peoples problems. I wish you luck.

Safe and happy cleaning:)

Julie,

Is the stain orange or just a blackish mess?

If the former you've got a problem , if the latter should be easy to remove for a pro carpet cleaner.

As your profile does not give an area its difficult for people to respond specifically.

Cheers,

Doug
