Hi,

I've just been onto the cleaning show website.  I was wondering whether or not it was worth having a trip down there.

Has anyone been to this before?  Would you recommend going?


Having not launched my business yet, I was thinking it may be beneficial.

Hi Ange

Yes, I have been there for the last 2 shows and it would give you an idea of the sort of things you would be looking for in the near future when you get bigger....ie more than a one man/woman band....especially equipment, paper products, dispensers, vacuums even carpet cleaning equipment. Most of the big players will be there and their competition for you to compare gear with.

Also there will be a few talks that you can go in to get info on employment etc etc.
But the cleaning show website will tell you what talks are on what time and day etc

Also you are surrounded by others interested in the same business as yourself. I love soaking up that atmosphere there (sad in'it!!!!)

So yes, i would recommend it as a day out well worth spending......and its free!!!!

I will go on the website and register

I have sent them an email asking when each talk is scheduled for, as it doesn't say on the website.

they give a list of topics, maybe they are covering each topic on every day so it doesn't matter which day you go on.

Wouldn't like to miss out on any info!!!

Not sure if this would have much relevance to newbies but there is also a free  business start up exhibition in birmingam NEC on 23rd and 24th feburuary.  Tickets are also free from bstartup.com
