Builders Cleans
« on: November 23, 2006, 04:12:33 pm »
Hi to everyone,

Been reading through the forum on Builders Cleans and have been thinking about this area of work for a while. I understand from the norm that there are three types of cleans to be provided - Builders Clean approx £250 Re-Clean £180 and Sparkle Clean £180.00 or based on price per square footage 12p-20p!!!

Should I go into this side of the business, I would like to do it professionally and would appreciate any/all information that you can provide on  Marketing & Sales of Builders Cleaning services and estimating or quotaing for the work involved

We currently operate a domestic & office cleaning service which provides a regular income 12 months a year.

Hope you can help

Regards Dave H

I would be very very surprise if you can get those sort of prices for ReCleans and Sparkles, we deal a lot with the national building companies.  Build clean £250 for a four bed house, £100 - £120 for reclean and £60 - 80 for sparkle.

Thanks for the reply, I was just picking up on some of the figures given from other members on the forum. The figures you have given are more in line to my costings and profit margin.

Although we are experienced in domestic and office cleans, can you tell me what are the pitfalls I need to be aware of when 1. Approaching new house builders 2. Doing the actual cleans.

Also what is the specialist equipment we would need to do the job professionally and to a high standard

I will only give advice to those who update their profile ie: what part of the country you are in as this affects the prices, otherwise visit scsf.co.uk forum where you can register and I will give advice on that forum.
