any tips please?
« on: January 15, 2007, 07:38:04 pm »
Hi guys,

Got my first commercial job, not a big one, just a shop front,
Two large windows, about 12 ftX 12 ft, plus a double door.
Been going about 7 months and believe i do a very good job on domestics, but never done windows this big before, done it twice now, and done ok, but find it hard to control a 14 inch squeegee, the extension pole im using is a relatives and has got a bit of give at the top, so buying myself a stiffer one which hopefully will allow more pressure to be exerted onto the glass.

Any tips would be gladly tried out, and thanks in advance! ;)

We do several shop fronts and the best way to do them is a section at a time making sure you overlap the sections if that makes any sense

There's a video on window cleaning resources site about using extension poles.

Has a video clip as well. The diagonal strokes thing works a treat to avoid lines.

Do it in sections and use a step ladder, just a 3 step.
