Hi,  Do you have any special techniques on how to clean Sign written Windows please?
 I was out cleaning today and some of the glass on the insides where sign written it takes ages to scrim over this type of window, and i'm not talking about the small & tidgy signs i mean huge lettering!!  Any help please?  Or any techniques or tips?

Hi Shaun,i do a lot of internal work and most is signwritten ,i just pad and blade it and wipe over with microfibre cloth,job done,Gaz

Well if there is i would also be very interested,iv`e been window cleaning 18 years and find it to be the best way,Gaz

Normally best advice on blading is to NOT go over the same area again if you can help it - one pass is best.

However, if you go over the lettering twice, there's less water on the "join" betwen the plastic and the glass.

Same principle as multiple blades in Gillette razors - well, sort of.

Increase the base distance slightly when you go over the letters

What do you mean by "Base Distance" please?

The base distance means how you angle your squeegee, its the distance between the handle, and the glass. It should be about 2" !!

Not that this will make much diffrence, you will still have to ragg them. But it helps and its the only thing you can do
