Hi

I am off to NCCA beginning of December.  I am new to the industry and I want to start out in the right way.  I have been in the cleaning business now for couple of years.

I wondered if there was anyone in or around the Aylesbury area who wouldn't mind me tagging along on a job to see how they work.

At present I use a Puzzi 100 on hire but with the choice on offer I am not going to rush into buying a machine until I have gained some experience.

I have read a lot of the posts and I have found them very useful and sometimes very amusing. 

I will keep listening and taking on board the advice I read and I hope my business lasts as long as some of those on the forum.

I would particularly like to hear from any other ladies who work in the carpet cleaning industry.

Make your mind up, one minute we are a waste of space and big ourselves up, next minute we are an amusing and helpful lot.

I am a lady who does carpet cleaning, some people are quite superised when I turn up at their door.  But I have got a lot of recommendation soley on being female. The older clients say thet prefer it and so let their friend know.
Sometimes the male clients offer to help which can be frustating even had one guy offer to do the whole job, what a gent.

I have spoken with our Commercial manager who is willing to take 1 (different) person per day for 2 weeks to work within that department. Lunch will be provided.
