saw this colmans water heater, just wondered if this would work with the trolley systems, instant hot water on frosty days, they say it works by using propane gas refills,

Itake it that your thinking of using the hot water for the windows yes ?

I think i saw on here that puting hot water on cold glass would cause some thing called thermal shock , causing the glass to possibly shatter ?

it should not shatter the glass if the tempreture is set correctly, i mean warm not hot

Are you saying that the water freezes on contact with the glass ?

i mean these guys at thermopure must have made many test against frozen glass ect, or they would not sell the product, so i dont think the colmans would be as strong as the themopure, am guessing realy p@f, so am just thinking it would do the same job but for less money, maybe matt, can let us know when he speaks with the colmans rep,

i have never used the hot water, maybe some of the guy or ladys in here that use the thermopure, or other hot water systems can tell us if thats what hapens when the hot water hits the frozen glass, i am sure i seen a post on here a long time ago about the same subject, and some kind of  additive in small dozage was use in the water to stop the freeze up on the glass,

With wfp, I've only had the water freeze on the ground, but I've certainly had trad applicators stick to windows in the winter

im the same, wfp froze solid on the window cill, and the applicator stuck to the glass (i had to pour antifreeze on it

thanks matt, thats great, so it can work for us, matt may be we can get a simular canister for it here in the uk, they cant stop the product getting in to the country, it sounds realy good, but just our luck there is always a hitch,
