Help Please
« on: November 25, 2006, 07:56:03 pm »
Hi All

I was asked by one of my customers how they can remove the tape on the window frames the tape that protects the frames when they were fitted.

The thing is this tape has been on quiet a while, is it a case of elbow grease and scraper or is there a product that can be used ?

If its been on too long it could prove to be a b#~ch to get off .

Try a small bit to see how long it takes before setting a price .
(I,ve tried scrapping the blue type, it took about an hour to do a patio door.

DON'T use a scraper - there's a risk of damage to the plastic and no matter what the initial agreement was, the customer will blame YOU and expect you to pay >:(

Cheers,
