100 psi i take it?

50ft be fine, that should be enough to do upstairs with machine left down stairs.

any more you may lose to much power, i always used to carry x2- 25ft with portable.

Yes, the mc will cope with that fine. It will mean that you do not have to take the mc indoors. The hose will reach all over most houses. I have a 3 m , 2  7.5m and a 15m on the van all the time. on one job every 3 months most of that is on the mc to save a very difficult flight of stairs. With that much hose on a porty it reduces the airflow but I find its not too bad. The 3m hose is used a lot-- how many times is a 7.7 just not quite long enough? It is easy & quick to put on.
