Chinese Rugs
« on: November 21, 2006, 08:36:06 am »
Went to a house yesterday to do a quote for carpets, the owner had also just had delivered 12 handmade Chinese rugs.

He asked about cleaning them and the interior designer stated that they were colour fast and 100% wool but must only be vacuumed !

Could this be correct ?

No...............but, if some one's prepared to pay you for just  vacuuming their rugs, be happy, but make sure you vacuum both sides.

Thanks. I thought it was a load of pony & trap !

But obviously this guy values the interior designers opinion as he is paying her alot of money ! and she would like to make money ordering replacements when these get dirty & stained ! ;)
