was just wondering if you lot take a fortnight at christmas i shut down for this period i feel it takes a bit of the brunt of winter, plus saves having to pay the wage bill for a week our two
do u lot shut down our do u stagger the staff holidays  through out the year we usualy finish the 23rd and start back the mon after new year depending when it falls  then get in about it till the tee shirts come on again

I'm finishing on the 21st or 22nd of December and going back on the 3rd January

I don't take time off at christmas cause i'm a Jehovah's Witness but might take of christmas day and boxing day cause it might not go down very well with the customer's!

Off Xmas Day, Boxing Day, ( feeling ill due to tooo much food & drink) 

Off New Years Day (need day off to sleep due to the unhealthy night of enjoyment) 

I work the rest of the time to pay for it, ROLL ON.

But i have one commercial job that has to be done on the 27th but thats only for 2 hours.

I take the public holidays off (or their lieu days) but usually work the other ones.  If I till have gaps in my workload by Christmas, I will try to get far enough ahead to take the week off this year.

i take christmas eve off, christmas day, and new years day off. Only the days i really have to take off incase i upset the customers by waking them when they are nursing a hangover!
