standard ladders or double pointers??
« on: October 21, 2006, 07:50:02 pm »
I can see the advantage of using double a - frames over a standard ladder in certain situations, but why do i not see anyone using them, is it just because they are more expensive?

Hi,

Plenty of window cleaners with points around Surrey way. I think it may be when a window cleaner starts up, what with money being tight they opt for the cheaper open ended version & progress to a pointer when money is more plentifulL.  With a pointer you can work at the same height as the window & not have to reach up to them small openers, also less moving the ladder per window.

Th cost for me but if you are just starting out then i'd go for a set of decent aluminium double pointers. They are well worth it.
